A plea from Phil Morgan for anyone who attended the NB Medical resilience courses last summer (as opposed to the recent GP Update ones) to complete this short survey (link below). If feedback is positive, he may be able to use this to support funding some more similar support.
“Hi colleagues.
I’m sending this email to everyone who attended at least one of the NB Medical Resilience courses last summer (nearly 80 GPs).
As you may recall the course was paid for via some NHS England funding badged “GP Retention”. We are keen to find out whether the course has been helpful for you as this will help us decide on whether to commission something similar with any future funding.
I would, therefore, be very grateful if you could complete this very short survey which should take you no more than 2 minutes, by Friday 6th March.
You might also be interested to have a look at this video which contains interviews with the two NB Medical trainers (Zoe and Steph) and three local GPs (thanks again to Dr Penney, Dr Houlder and Dr Hay for giving up their time).
If you have any queries or comments about this, or anything else to do with the work that the CCG is doing around retaining GPs in our local area, please get in touch.
Thanks
Phil
