The PCN has decided that the funding that supported this role would be better spent elsewhere so unfortunately it is coming to and end, just as it was beginning. The planned resuscitation meeting that was going to happen in January now won’t (obviously it didn’t happen), nor will any further meetings or other support for locums arranged by the PCN.
That’s the bad news. The good news, is that we are going to start doing this ourselves, and will be shortly announcing a new Chair for the group who will lead on revitalising the group, re-engage members and restart meetings and other events.
