Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin CCG are planning to introduce an online locum booking system (using an as yet unchosen system, which will NOT be the NASGP’s Locum Deck) across the county. They have prepared a questionnaire to ask locums about this and the link is www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/PHDGBJ9
There are threads on this issue on our forum so please do post your questions and thoughts. The SSGPN committee does not represent the opinions of locums but we have provided our own feedback individually to the CCG, including our concerns that a booking system offers few benefits to locums and a number of potential disadvantages, including the possibility that it could be made mandatory to practices in the future.
