Thank you to Louise Warburton and Gaynor O’Grady who gave a really useful talk on all things musculoskeletal on Wednesday. It was well attended and I hope everyone learned something, I certainly did!
As previously notified, our next meeting will be on TUESDAY 13th November and will be our annual safeguarding update. Thanks to Dinesh Amarnath for organising this. I will send out a reminder nearer the time. It would be helpful to know how many people are intending to come, so please let me know if you haven’t already.
We still need some volunteers for sessions in the new year. We had a couple of suggestions at the meeting on Wednesday and I will contact those people separately, but please do think if you could lead or organise a meeting for the spring.
Finally, as previously notified, the LMC are to keen to have more members from sessional/locum GPs. I have had a suggestion that SSGPN could offer to pay a joint levy on behalf of all our members. I don’t know if this would be acceptable to our membership, or indeed to the LMC, but I thought it was an interesting idea, and would be grateful for your opinions.
