Further to yesterday’s email, here are details of what promises to be an interesting morning.
It is anticipated that this might be the first of an occasional series of joint CPD events involving clinicians from all backgrounds (primary, secondary and community care etc) to foster a better understanding of how we can all work together to improve care for our patients.
Message from Finola Lynch, who has helped to organise it:
“I would be really grateful if you could share this event with members. We have regional speakers coming who are incredibly engaging and knowledgeable about this field as well as highly respected local figures. We are inviting health professionals and clinicians interested in frailty across the system (primary, community, secondary etc) to this event in order to bring people together, share points of view and hopefully start to induce a more collaborative and joined up approach to issues like frailty.
This is the first event of its kind but the aim is to arrange other joint CBD events based on other topics. The event is free and worth three hours of CPD. The frailty collaborative, who have helped to organise the speakers, is a collective of Shropshire and T&W clinicians, providers and commissioners who are interested in frailty and promoting joined up working across the system.
